S is for Slide
A slide can be performed side to side, diagonally, tilted or front to back. Heads, upper body and hips are the three main sliding parts.
S is for Side step with a hip lift
Side step with a hip lift is best performed as a languid sequence, relaxed & without tension. It is as simple as stepping sideways on one; use side waist muscles to lift hip on 2. It can be used in a variety of different ways and combinations - try step L, hip lift; step R, hip lift; step L, bring R hip to front drop drop.
